Aidan J Reed is an independent professional firm of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers and Estate Agents based in a prominent central location of Loughborough.

Aidan has practiced as a Chartered Surveyor and Estate Agent for over 25 years in Loughborough having joined John German from University in 1984 where he trained then becoming a partner more latterly spending a short spell with Moore & York in Leicester.

Aidan has immense expertise in the sale of property whether a large country house or having acted for many thousands of individual clients as well as for Banks, Building Societies and other large institutions. In addition to House Sales we also provide the following services; Valuation for Tax Probate and Matrimonial purposes, Home Information Packs, Auctions, New Homes, Surveys, Mortgages, Planning and Development Appraisals.

(Bsc MRICS FNAEA) left Nottingham Trent University in 1984 and joined John German qualifying in 1989 and being made a partner with John German in the same year. Aidan is very well known in the town having practiced consistently as an Estate Agent/Chartered Surveyor for well over 25 years, his experience unrivalled by any other Estate Agent. Aidan has a wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with all aspects of residential property matters as well as New Homes, Planning and Development. Aidan has also trained as an Auctioneer and hopes that in future this could be an alternative way to selling your property. Aidan has been a resident in the town for almost all of his working life and is very active within the local community.

(MNAEA) has 11 years experience within the industry and after opening Aidan J Reed Ltd first office in Loughborough in January 2006 now guides the team through compliance matters, while also training and developing the team. Mel has a great passion for the industry, also being a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and on the committee for the local National Association of Estate Agency branch.

has lived locally all his life and has enjoyed a local education and upbringing. Upon leaving college Richard commenced his career in Estate Agency over 8 years ago, firstly with Nicholas J Humphreys valuing in Charnwood, Derby and Burton on Trent. He then gained experience in the corporate sector with Haart before being asked by Aidan to join Aidan J Reed Estate Agents as residential valuer. Richard brings with him a wealth of experience valuing property in all price ranges throughout the local area.

brings to the Aidan J Reed team an immense amount of experience and professionalism, having started as a trainee in the industry around 21 years ago. He has worked in Loughborough, Leicester city and Birstall. Michael has seen both a fast and slow market and is confident in his advice to clients in all price ranges. has over 30 years experience in property, having lived and worked for all this time locally. She worked as a Conveyancing Secretary with Straw & Pearce, Bird Wilford & Sale and Moss Solicitors covering a period of 14 years. Pat then worked at John German with Aidan from 1987/1994 firstly as a weekend Negotiator and then as a Secretary/Negotiator. Since then Pat has worked in Leicester for a firm of Chartered Surveyors and as a Paralegal with a firm of Solicitors. Pat has done every job in the business and provides excellent Admin/Secretarial skills to the Team.

joins us after 9 years with Benton’s and also having experience with David Wilson Holmes. Katy is bubbly, full of energy and uses this to fuel her passion for property. Katy has a pro active approach and very much enjoys the industry.

has been in the industry now for 3 to 4 years having previously worked for John German and Nicholas J Humphreys. He joined Aidan J Reed in March 2009 providing back up and support at a technical level in providing floor plans, undertaking viewings and backing up both Aidan J Reed and Richard Harrison in the marketing of properties coming to sale. James is very excited to be joining the business where we have set out a training strategy for him with a full career development for the next few years.

joined Aidan J Reed in the autumn of 2008 as Sales Admin and recently completed her Property Misdescriptions Act exam and is gradually involved with more of the sales process and provides energy and enthusiasm within the team and always has a positive outlook. Lydia previously to working in Estate Agency worked in the care industry where client and customer service was critical.

has been in the industry for over a decade having been with Aidan J Reed for a number of years based between the Quorn and Loughborough offices and provides again years of experience with clients and many people recognize her as she has moved a good deal of people both in Loughborough and surrounding areas over the last decade or so. Amanda lives locally and integrates her working life with family life.

, a Sales Negotiator, has been with AJR since 2008. Emma is just finishing a degree in psychology and provides an enthusiastic member of the Weekend team. Besides being office based Emma also helps with outside viewings giving her a good knowledge of the properties on the register.
