Aidan J Reed believe that the Auction method of sale provides the following:

• Transparency - at Public Auctions all bidders are aware of who they are competing against.
• At the fall of the hammer it provides certainty with an immediate exchange of contracts with completion to follow in 14/28 days thereafter.
• Speed of Sale.
• No risk of anyone changing their mind at the last minute – in a normal sale 1 in 3 sales fall through before exchange of contracts.

Over recent years Aidan had recognized that there were no local Auctioneers. Having a Chartered Surveyors background Aidan had watched Auctions over the years and decided to train as an Auctioneer in 2007.

Unlike the very large Auction houses the Auctioneer is Aidan J Reed who has an intimate knowledge of the Bidders for each of the lots and has a proven track record over recent years.
